It would seem the summer is over!
OVER?
Well in Western New York (where I am from) the beginning of Erie County Fair has traditionally been considered the ending of summer. Most likely due to the fact that it usually runs for 12 days in mid-August and soon after school begins for most school districts. The fact remains that summer doesn't end until the Autumn equinox which falls between September 21 to 24. So when the fair ends there is still a solid month left of summer.
Even if the weather starts getting cooler Western New York is beautiful in the fall with so many parks and no shortage of festivals.
Make the most of the present season where you live. The seasons will continue to change. The year will continue whether you want the year to stop or not. Enjoy the moments as they come, we are not promised tomorrow. Living in the present is the very best way to get the most out of life. Spending time wishing summer wouldn't end or hoping for the spring is wasting the moments that are happening right before your eyes.
